Klaw’s ‘Spiced Cod burger ‘


  • Cucumber 1/2, cut into ribbons
  • White wine vinegar 1 tsp
  • Golden caster sugar 1/4 tsp
  • Plain flour 1 tbsp
  • Smoked paprika 1/4 tsp
  • Ground cumin 1/4 tsp
  • Black pepper 1/4 tsp
  • Cod or haddock or pollock, Coley nice fat bun-sized pieces
  • Oil
  • Ciabatta buns 2, toasted
  • Mayo
  • Sweet chilli sauce
  • Hand full of rocket
  • Lime
  • Sea sal


  • Toss the cucumber with the vinegar, sugar and some salt.
  • Mix the spice mix
  • . Dust the fish on one side
  • Place fish under the grill on 180 for 6-8min
  • Until cooked through.
  • Add squeeze of lime and some zest into your mayo
  • toast your buns and Spread the bottom bun with dollop of sweet chilli
  • dress your rocket with squeeze of lime and season with salt and pepper.
  • rocket on the bottom then sit the fish on top.
  • Add with the cucumber and lashing of the mayo on the bun lid
  • Devour
